Huan-Ti and Kuan-Yin

Huan-Ti is yet another war god; this one in a chariot. Kuan Yin is the goddess of mercy and child-bearing. It actually sort of looks like I may be able to draw in this one. Sort of.

The text says, "Where did you learn about the moon?"

And this is the 100th post on the site, my counter tells me. How bout that?

Um...I hadn't thought about it, but I'm extremely flattered. I think I'd probably sell one for between $50 and $100, depending on which one it is. Why don't you email me and tell me which one you're interested in? My email is noahberlatsky@hotmail.com

I can't believe someone is willing to buy these things. What a racket!

Ok, these gave me a weird idea. At some point we should try having one person draw something, whatever, but abstract it a small bit yet still retain whatever it is they're drawing. Then another person draws that abstracted drawing and abstracts it yet must retain some semblance of that first drawing, and so on down a chain of artists. It would be interesting to see what the end result would mutate into from the original.

I actually did an abstract drawing based on an old Marvel Comics cover, and my friend Bert Stabler then used my abstract drawing as the basis of a new abstract drawing. Bert's an amazing artist, so the result was pretty incredible.
